In another trial of the Bergisch Gladbach abuse complex, an Austrian was convicted of abusing his then four-year-old daughter.
The Salzburg Regional Court imposed five months' imprisonment and a further 15 months suspended sentence.
According to the indictment, the 34-year-old man is said to have sexually abused his sleeping child in 2019 and made photos of the crime available to a man from Germany online.
The verdict is not yet legally binding.
According to earlier information from German and Austrian investigative authorities, the German contact is Jörg L., who was sentenced as a central figure in the Bergisch Gladbach abuse case last October, when he was 43 years old, to twelve years' imprisonment and preventive detention.
Defendant was already convicted
The Austrian accused confessed.
According to the verdict, he must also undergo psychotherapy.
He was sentenced to three months suspended sentence in January for possession of child pornography.
The man was located after a tip from the special organization (BAO) "Berg" of the Cologne police to Austrian colleagues.
The complex has been under investigation since October 2019.
In the house of a man from Bergisch Gladbach, huge amounts of child pornographic data were found.
Investigators came across numerous other suspects through him.
