Actor Michael K. Williams died of "accidental" overdose

   Williams is attributable to an "acute poisoning due to the combined effects of fentanyl (a potent opioid), of p-fluorofentanyl, of heroin and cocaine ".


    The 54-year-old actor was found lifeless in his Brooklyn apartment.

In an interview with American radio NPR in 2016 he told of his fight against drug addiction while filming "The Wire".

He had been nominated five times at the Emmy Awards.

Last time in 2021 for his role in the "Lovecraft Country" series.
