The installation of the interim executive of the sixteen Koranic students, whose composition was announced two weeks ago, has been postponed, among other things, due to the absence of Vice-Premier Abdul Ghani Baradar. According to sources of the same mullahs, Baradar returned to Kabul today after days of mysterious absence from the public scene, in which he had retreated to his stronghold of Kandahar after an alleged clash - officially denied - with the Haqqani network within the Taliban leadership.
