(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, SEPTEMBER 24 - The United States has set some exemptions to the economic sanctions imposed on the government of the Albanians in Afghanistan, to allow the arrival and distribution of humanitarian aid.
The first waiver, the department explains to the US Treasury, authorizes the American government, non-governmental organizations and some international institutions to provide assistance on the basic needs of the population.
The second, on the other hand, authorizes some transactions related to the export to Afghanistan of agricultural products, drugs and sanitary equipment.
