The MVG has now responded - and taken a security measure.

Munich - An inferno of fire destroyed a bus depot in Stuttgart last week.

25 buses burned down completely.

The damage runs into the millions.

Trigger of the great fire?

Presumably a charging electric bus.

A good week after the fire, the Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG) is now drawing conclusions.

After a major fire in Stuttgart: MVG takes e-buses out of operation

As a precaution, MVG is taking eight e-buses of the same type out of service.

This was announced by Stadtwerke München on Friday, October 8th.

The precautionary measure only applies to buses of the same type and initially only until the cause of the fire has been finally clarified.

Despite a lack of income from Corona, MVG wants to improve its offer in the future.

For example, the U4 should run more frequently, and buses and trams are also on the move again at night.
