Nuremberg - On the night of Sunday (June 6th) a week and a half ago, several arguments broke out on the Nuremberg grain market.
After police officers intervened, they were attacked several times.
Subsequently, a 20-year-old man was identified as a suspect of an assault.
Further perpetrators are currently being determined, the Central Franconian Police Headquarters * announced.

In the course of the night officials had to intervene again and again because there had been arguments among those present at the grain market.
In order to prevent further crimes, police officers finally vacated the place at 4:30 a.m.
However, not without resistance: the officers had to use immediate force and take a total of 13 people into custody.
There were attacks against officials in several cases.
Some of the attackers went undetected.
In one case, for example, police officers intervened at around 5 a.m. when they noticed a fight between two men.
But while they were intervening, a hitherto uninvolved man approached and attacked the police with a belt.
They did not manage to catch the attacker.

After the riots at the weekend, the Police Inspection Nuremberg *-Middle founded a seven-person working group in order to be able to identify those involved by evaluating the existing video recordings of the body cameras, among other things.
With success: In fact, they managed to identify a suspect for the described attack with the belt.
About a week after the attack, on June 13, the 20-year-old was arrested in downtown Nuremberg.
He must answer for the charge of attempted dangerous bodily harm and assault on law enforcement officers.
Investigations continue - more police presence in downtown Nuremberg
The Nuremberg-Fürth public prosecutor filed an application for arrest against him and had him brought before an investigating judge.
This in turn issued an arrest warrant against the 20-year-old.
Now he's in custody.
The investigations of the working group that have been set up have not yet been concluded.
The officials are working to identify other previously unknown people who were involved in the riot in the grain market.
In addition, the Central Franconian police have announced that they will maintain their increased presence in downtown Nuremberg over the coming weekends.
