In light of the failure of the mediation process between the artists exhibiting at the Ramat Gan Museum of Israeli Art and the municipality, the museum decided to close the "Mossad" exhibition on display at the museum. Starting today (Wednesday) at 12:30 the museum closes its gates and the dozens of artists exhibiting in the exhibition come to pick up their works.
The museum said that it expressed "sorrow and disappointment at the results of the mediation process between the artists and representatives of the Ramat Gan municipality. The museum was involved in all moves to find a compromise and worked resolutely to promote the exhibition." "A decision will be made these days regarding the museum's next moves."
The artists stated: "After the mediation process was exhausted and the mayor and the museum's board refrained from responding to the artists 'representatives' compromise proposals, we reiterated our demand to remove our works from the exhibition.
