The resigned president of the federation, Brigadier General Hatem Al-Ghayeb, said in a press statement: "Due to the unsatisfactory results of our ambition and the ambition of the Syrian fans who love and love football, and away from controversy, I submitted my resignation from the presidency of the Syrian Arab Football Federation, wishing success and success to everyone who serves Syrian football."
