After two years of strict corona laws: This is the state that removes the restrictions Israel today

2022-05-16T11:20:25.142Z

Austria will remove restrictions on entry into the country and allow even the unvaccinated to visit it • In doing so, it joins many European countries • The obligation to wear masks on flights to the country - will remain in effect

After more than two years and after a long line of countries that have already lifted entry restrictions, Austria joins the same list this morning and accepts them all, with almost no restrictions.

Anyone who wants to enter Austria, even if not resilient or recovered, can do so, even without the need for corona examinations or filling out forms.

However, although as of today EU countries, which have adopted the EU recommendation and no longer require wearing masks on flights, in Austria, have chosen not to adopt this EU recommendation.

To fly to Austria, you will still need to wear a certain mask but this is the only restriction at the moment.

Austria borders eight countries, some of which still restrict tourists from entering them.

The opening of Austria puts countries like Germany and Italy, which border it, in a very problematic situation, as the borders with Austria and other fully opened countries are completely open and so basically unvaccinated tourists can land in Austria and move almost freely to Germany or Italy.

Other countries that have removed all restrictions and accept them all without requirements are: Switzerland, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Ireland, Mexico, Jordan, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Maldives and other countries.
