Bus drivers protest.

Credit Organization of Bus Drivers and National Histadrut (Maariv)

The bus drivers unionized by the Histadrut will shut down public transportation for three hours tomorrow (Sunday), between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

According to the organizations, the strike is taking place due to the refusal of the Minister of Transport to meet with the drivers and discuss with them their demands and the impending reform.

The strike was made possible after the Labor Court lifted the restraining orders and allowed drivers to take sanctions.

The drivers said that "on Sunday the state will burn in the biggest drivers' strike the state has ever known".

The court removed the restraining orders.
