Ajax midfielder Mohamed Ikhtaran continues to get into trouble and make headlines for the wrong reasons.
This time on the menu: his Porsche that was set on fire in the middle of the night in Utrecht.
The local police are of course investigating, with the burning of his brother's car, Yasir Ikhtaran, about a week ago in the background.
Ekhtaren's name came up about two months ago, during a high-profile trial that is taking place in the Netherlands and deals with a long series of news regarding an organized crime group of Dutch average Moroccans (Mukro Mafia).
A man who is suspected of belonging to the same criminal organization, arrived at the court in a car that turned out to be registered in Ikhtaran's name and was given to him by... Ajax.
And the police discovered that he had connections with quite a few known criminals.
Ikhtaran began receiving death threats and voices were heard in Ajax calling for his release.
He and his family publicly laughed off the reports of threats, but the police suspected that they came in the shadow of his relationship with the network star and influencer who goes by the name of Yasmin.
The reason why his relationship with that Jasmine made him a target for violent activity has not been made public.
On Sunday Ikhtaran and Yasmin got married and two days later his Porsche was set on fire - a vehicle valued at about 82 thousand euros.
The footballer was quick to put up a post on Instagram in which he wrote: "There is jealousy in the air... it's good that material things can be exchanged."
By the way, when Ikhtaran played for PSV Eindhoven, in Holland they talked about bad relations between him and Eran Zahavi.

The 20-year-old Ekhtaren was until recently considered one of the future players of Dutch football, but also a player with severe disciplinary problems.
He grew up in the youth department of PSV Eindhoven, played in all the youth teams of the Netherlands and in the summer of 2021 was purchased by Juventus for about 2 million euros.
Juventus loaned Ikhtaran to Sampdoria, but there they got over his behavior pretty quickly and sent him back to Turin.
Juve loaned him to Ajax, but apart from 4 minutes in the cup, he participated in several games in the reserve team last season.
This season he has not played yet and in January he is supposed to return to Juventus.
