With the participation of Syria, the meetings of the General Assembly of the Asian Wrestling Federation were concluded in the Kazakh capital, which was attended by and supervised by the President and members of the International Federation.
President of the Wrestling Federation Muhammad Nur Al-Ali explained that during the meeting of the General Assembly of the AFC, the administrative and financial reports were discussed, the election of a new council for the AFC headed by the Kazakh Dowlet Golf and the membership of the President of the Yemeni Federation, Abdullah Dirham, in addition to representatives of Japan, South Korea, China, Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, pointing out that the scheduled championships were approved. Holding it during the next year, in addition to coordination with the International Federation of the Tokyo Olympics.
Al-Ali indicated that during his meeting with the heads of the International, Asian and Arab Federation and some of the heads of the national federations, he managed to obtain approval to host an international championship in Damascus under Asian and international supervision.
It is noteworthy that our team is participating in the Asian Championship competitions currently held in Kazakhstan, in addition to sharing our arbitration experience in leading the qualifying matches for the Tokyo Olympics and the Asian Championship.
