Al-Hasakah Health Directorate has started giving the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine to people who received the first dose of it throughout the governorate.
And the Director of Health, Dr. Issa Khalaf, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the directorate today started giving the second dose of Covid-19 vaccines to people who took the first dose, through the fixed health centers and in the updated medical center in the city center and the headquarters of the National Hospital in the city of Hasaka.
Khalaf pointed out that the mobile teams in the directorate will visit health areas in the cities and countryside of the governorate in order to give the second dose vaccines on dates and programs specified by the directorate in order to relieve the people and ensure that the vaccine is given to all target groups.
The Director of Health stated that the implementation rate of giving the first dose of the vaccine amounted to about 103 percent of the plan set for the target groups of the elderly and people with chronic diseases, stressing that the directorate continues to give the vaccine with the first dose to those wishing in light of the availability of vaccines, specialized cadres and trained medical teams.
