Al-Jaafari: Expatriates are true ambassadors in highlighting the importance of Syria

Bashar Al-Jaafari, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, met with the administrative and media body in Damascus of the National Union of Syrian Expatriates in Sweden and Europe, and the two sides reviewed the importance of expatriate activity and the need to support and strengthen it at home and abroad, especially at this sensitive stage that Syria is going through.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Jaafari reviewed the most prominent laws and legislations recently issued to strengthen the link between the expatriate and his mother country Syria, whether through laws that facilitate the visit of the Syrian expatriate to his mother country or related to it enabling the Syrian expatriate to obtain documents and organize transactions in the country of expatriation through Syrian missions around the world.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates also noted the success stories achieved by Syrian expatriates in the countries of expatriation, stressing that the Syrian expatriates have become true ambassadors in highlighting the greatness of the Syrian civilization and the importance of Syria in geopolitics, as well as in defending all the false and baseless accusations and slander that Syria is subjected to. The role of the Expatriates Authority in explaining to the world that the unilateral coercive economic measures against Syria are illegal and illegal and amount to a war crime.

For their part, the delegation members explained the nature of the work of the National Union of Syrian Expatriates in Sweden and Europe and its most prominent national activities and contributions, especially during the crisis, stressing their condemnation of the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by hostile countries on Syria and their standing by their country no matter how severe the hardships and the multiplicity of risks.

It is noteworthy that the National Union of Syrian Expatriates in Sweden and Europe, headed by Dr. Kabi Isho, is concerned with unifying the efforts of Syrians in the expatriate and defending Syria in light of the systematic war and siege it is subjected to, in coordination with the Syrian Embassy in Sweden and the Syrian embassies in Europe.
