During the first half of this year, the services of the Qatifah National Hospital in Damascus countryside exceeded 208 thousand medical services, with an occupancy rate of 49.55 percent.
From the beginning of this year until the end of last June, the hospital, according to its director, Dr. Hussein Ajaj, visited 9557 outpatient clinics and 17.5 thousand for the ambulance department, 4101 of whom were admitted to the hospital, and the care department received 255 patients.
Dr. Ajaj indicated to SANA that the hospital performed 948 surgeries, 600 caesarean sections, 753 natural births, 125,000 laboratory analyzes, more than 43,000 simple x-rays, CT scans, echo-mammograms, 1986 electrocardiograms, 2162 dialysis sessions, 825 physiotherapy sessions, and 76 audio and brain imaging sessions.
