In continuation of its support of Al Wahda Club and after the successful experience last season, Cham Wings Airlines signed today a new sponsorship contract for the men's football team that extends until the end of the current season.
Director of Business Development and Human Resources at Cham Wings Company, Dr. Osama Sate, said in a statement to SANA that Al Wahda Club is one of the oldest sports clubs in Syria and has a wide audience, and the company’s sponsorship of it comes within its plan to sponsor Syrian sports, pointing out that the company will be the official sponsor of Al Wahda football team until end of the current season.
In turn, the President of Al-Wahda Club Maher Al-Sayed explained that the sponsorship of Al-Sham Wings Company for the first football team is an important step in the framework of developing sports, especially at this difficult time, pointing out that support for football in Syria is one of the economic activities and companies that help it move forward, expressing his hope that it will include sponsoring football in Syria. These companies, during the coming period, will play other games with remarkable achievements.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Wahda team leads the Premier League standings for the current season with 10, followed by Al-Wathba, Tishreen and Jableh with 8 points each, Al-Karama with 7 points, Al-Jaish, Police and Al-Nawair with 5 points each. Fourteenth and last with one point.
