Alleged attack on ex-girlfriend: Wimbledon quarterfinalist Kyrgios has to appear in court

As is well known, tennis pro Nick Kyrgios is not a child of sadness.
Now the Australian has to answer to his ex-girlfriend in court for alleged physical violence.
LONDON - On Saturday, Nick Kyrgios made headlines in Wimbledon's third round match, but not for his 3-1 set win over Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The Australian once again drew attention to his meanwhile typical coarse behavior towards opponents and referees.
But the 27-year-old is also causing a stir off the court, so he has to answer in court next month.
The allegation is serious, Kyrgios is said to have physically attacked his ex-girlfriend last year.

Tennis fans know Kyrgios as an emotional player who likes to dish out.
If you look for example on YouTube for freaking out of the world ranking fortieth, you will find numerous excerpts from different matches.
Kyrgios also put on his show in the duel against the Greek Tsitsipas, when he argued with the referee Damien Dumusois and asked him: "Are you stupid?".
He also called him a "disgrace" and insulted him with several swear words.
He has already been fined $14,000 for his behavior, making him the most heavily penalized player of the tournament to date.
These penalties, however, would not compare to what Kyrgios could now thrive.
The quarter-finalist must appear in court in his native Australia.

reports, the trial is about the allegation of an assault on his ex-girlfriend Chiara Passari.
This is said to have taken place in December 2021, so Kyrgios is said to have packed his partner at the time, but further details are not known.
As can be seen from the list of dates of the district court of the Australian capital, the court hearing is scheduled for August 2nd.
Kyrgios' lawyer Jason Moffett, who represents the tennis pro in court according to the newspaper, told the newspaper: "The nature of the allegations is serious and Mr. Kyrgios takes the allegation very seriously." Moffet also confirmed that it was an incident " in connection with a domestic relationship”, act.
Apart from the alleged physical violence, the relationship between Kyrgios and Passari was far from perfect.
In December last year, for example, she published alleged chat histories with Kyrgios, accusing him of infidelity.
He is also said to have left her in New York at night after taking her cell phone or wallet.
