Ja Morant Lame After Injury in Game 3 Against Golden State (From Twitter)

Amara Studmeier leaves the Brooklyn Nets and claims: Kyrie Irving has a big part in the team’s failure this season.

Studmeier, 39, has served as the team's assistant coach for the past two years, and has seen from the sidelines how the controversial quarterback's refusal to get vaccinated against Corona prevents the team from developing the connection that was so lacking in the playoffs.

As you may recall, the Nets were swept by the Celtics in the first round and ended another disappointing campaign with Irving and Kevin Durant, who were supposed to march the team to new heights.

"Yeah, Kyrie hit us, definitely," Studmeier told ESPN.

"We were not able to produce the stability and chemistry needed to improve the team. The fact that he only played away games required us to improvise all the time, to switch fives, to switch from chops."

According to Studmeier, "As coaches, it was very difficult for us. The team connection was not as we expected, and we could not do much about it. There was no doubt that it was a very significant part of the fact that we did not succeed this season."

Studmeier explained that he is not convinced what his next step will be, and whether he is interested in continuing in the field of coaching.

Last year he even stated that he was considering making a comeback to the pitches, despite his advanced age.
