According to a report in Career Delo Sport, Maccabi Petah Tikva is close to exporting another Israeli legionnaire to Europe.
The Italian newspaper reports this morning (Tuesday) that Juventus, Inter, Roma, Atletico Madrid and a number of other luxury clubs on the continent are interested in 16-year-old Uri Aza, who plays in the youth department of the Malabes.
"Rome wants to add Gaza, but it is not the only one - half of the teams on the continent are interested in him. He attracted attention when he played for Maccabi Haifa. Today he plays for Maccabi Petah Tikva and it seems that very soon he will play for a big European club," it said.
"Apart from Rome, Juventus, Milan and Inter have also expressed interest in the player. Many agents want to represent him," they added.
The report also states that Atletico Madrid are also staring at the Israeli talent who will soon receive a Portuguese passport, but Roma, who added the end of Podograno from Maccabi Haifa last year, seem most serious about it.
