Violent reactions in the political system to the "Israel Today" revelation regarding the dumping of garbage on the Temple Mount.
As you may recall, on Monday it was revealed in "Israel Today" that garbage trucks are dumping waste around the Temple Mount, in a place that according to Jewish tradition is considered the most ancient - the relief area in front of the temple site.

Co-chair of the lobby for the Temple Mount, MK May Golan (Likud), said that: "I feel shocked by those sights of garbage trucks, but I am not surprised at all.
In the past year, our Jewish identity in the State of Israel is in tangible danger due to the loss of governance of a government supported by the Muslim Brotherhood.
I have no expectations for the current situation to improve, only hope and faith that very soon a government of the national camp will be established, which will restore deterrence and guarantee that such images will not be repeated.'
MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionism), co-chairman of the lobby for the Temple Mount in the Knesset, said that: "Under the rule of this government, the Waqf, which works in cooperation with Israel's enemies in Hamas and others, has been given a free hand to do with the Temple Mount as it sees fit.

Arnon Segal, candidate for the religious Zionist list for the Knesset and one of the leaders of the Olim to the Temple Mount added: "We are finally fed up with the alienation and indifference shown by the state authorities regarding the saint in our places.
A leadership that despises its own sanctity drops the ground on which it stands.
We need an urgent change, to return to adhering to the values that led us here after two thousand years and to rekindle the Jewish dream of generations.'
Tom Nisani, CEO of "In our hands for the sake of the Temple Mount": "Out of the entire area of the Temple Mount, they found a "convenient" place to spread garbage - a few meters from the site of the temple.
