Another Argentine family was destroyed by the advance of the second wave of coronavirus.

A 64-year-old man and his eldest daughter

died

on June 4 in La Pampa.

That same day another of his daughters, a 37-year-old teacher, was admitted to intensive care.

This Thursday, after fighting 13 days with the disease, he

also died

.

The tragedy of the

Spada family

runs through the entire

Caleufú

community

, a small town of 2,500 inhabitants located north of La Pampa.

The province reported 343 new infections and 4 fatalities on Thursday.

On Friday, June 4,

Ricardo José Spada

died in the Pico hospital.

It happened in the morning, as a result of a severe picture of covid-19.

A few hours later,

Andrea Lorena

, the 42-year-old daughter,

passed away

.

He had also contracted the virus.

José Ricardo Spada was 64 years old.

He died of coronavirus on June 4 in La Pampa.

That Friday there was a

third blow

to the family.

Towards night, one of Andrea's sisters had to be

admitted to intensive care

at the Centeno de Pico Hospital.

This is 

Mercedes

, a 37-year-old teacher who had been infected in the middle of the group outbreak.

In that first week of May, covid-19 affected 5 of the 6 members of the Spada family living in Caleufú.

In addition, Norma, the sisters' mother, and Andrea's son were infected.

Lorena Spada died of coronavirus hours after her father.

From that day on, the social networks of the town's residents were filled with

messages of solidarity

and hope.

The Spadas are a

very dear family

 from Caleufú.

They run a

small farm on

the edge of town.

It was called "La Timba", where homemade sausages and cheeses are produced.

In that farm they also raise some cows and horses.

"The Spada girls" - in addition to Andrea Lorena and Mercedes, there is a younger sister, Yamila - are known to everyone in Caleufú.

Carina Payero, a childhood friend, expressed her pain on the networks for the death of Mercedes and Andrea and portrayed that village environment in which their friendship was born.

"They are always in my memories and my childhood. They were part of

the friends behind the road,

" writes Carina, remembering the sisters.

"We did hopscotch competitions ... We used to make little houses in the eucalyptus trees. Sometimes we would go out for picnics, each of us would play a little and we would go for a walk to the fifths, sometimes with horses. at that time I had my cousin! ", says Carina.

All that ended at six in the afternoon, when "las Spadas" disappeared because they had an obligatory date: to see "Chiquititas".

In that memory, Carina mentions that this flight to watch TV was "always when they had looked for the cows: how those cows made them deny them!"

Mercedes was a teacher at the "Lucio V. Mansilla" secondary school in her town and at the Modesto Caretto school, another secondary school in La Maruja, a nearby town.

In the networks, her students and colleagues fired her with tender words.

Another friend, Yanet Vicencio, recalled that she was fired by video call.

"There were so many things left that we dreamed of: those trips, those talks.

You were the sister-friend that I didn't have

. Today my heart broke, the world came over me," Yanet cried to Mercedes Spada.
