The very young Barcelona forward Ansu Fati became the youngest scorer ever in the history of the Spanish national team tonight by scoring one of the four goals with which 'Roja' beat Ukraine 4-0 in a Nations League match.


    Ansu Fati scored the third goal of his men, and with his 17 years and 311 days he beat the record of precocity set by Juan Errazquin against Switzerland in Bern almost a century ago, that is on 1 June 1925, when he was 18 years old. and 344 days.


    Fati is also the second youngest rookie ever, only beaten by Angel Zubieta who in 1936 played against Czechoslovakia at 17 years and 284 days.


    Born in Guinea-Bissau but moved to Spain with his family since he was seven, Ansu Fati obtained Spanish nationality in September 2019.


    To underline, tonight, also the performance of Sergio Ramos, who scoring a double (with a penalty, for a foul on Fati, and with a header) reached 23 goals with the national team, a share that he shares with a 'legend' like Alfredo Di Stefano.
