Protests against the restrictions imposed due to the Corona virus continued for the third day in a row in Melbourne, the second largest city in Australia, amid a state of security alert.
Reuters reported that police were deployed in central Melbourne today, while protesters gathered again in the form of groups roaming the city's streets to denounce the restrictions imposed as part of the measures aimed at containing the virus.
Yesterday, the Australian police arrested more than 60 demonstrators who participated in the protests, after riots broke out, injuring three policemen and causing material damage.
