The British sports car manufacturer Arash wants to bring an electric hypercar onto the market.

With more than 3,000 hp and strictly limited.

Newmarket (Great Britain) - When Bugatti presented the Veyron at the beginning of the new millennium, one number was mainly talked about: 1001. This did not stand for the weight of the sports car, but for the horsepower that slumbered under the bonnet.

What was still unparalleled at the time can only wrest a tired smile from many a hyper or electric sports car today.

For example, the Spyros Panopoulos brings well over 3,000 hp to the asphalt, a sphere that the British manufacturer Arash also wants to venture into.

This should succeed with the electric hypercar Imperium, which is to come on the market in three versions, as reported by 24auto.de.

The Imperium E is supposed to serve as a kind of "entry-level model".

Only an 18 kilogram electric motor is used here.

With an impressive 600 kW, which corresponds to around 816 hp, this empire is anything but underpowered - especially with a weight of just 900 kg.

The top version of the Arash Imperium is said to produce almost 3,300 hp.

In the version without a name affix, two electric motors are already used - each with an output of 600 kW.

In the top version, four 600 kW electric motors are installed, which enables an output of 3,264 hp.

Arash plans electric hypercar: limited to 75 vehicles

The British sports car manufacturer relies on 800-volt technology for the electric drive architecture. For the battery, Arash offers either a 50 or 100 kWh battery. How far the electric hypercar will go is not known. The batteries and electric motors are embedded in the carbon monocoque. Crash boxes at the front and rear ensure safety. However, if you want to secure an Arash empire, you need a lot of luck, because the electric hypercar is strictly limited.

Only 75 copies are to be built, including 20 Imperium E, 25 Imperium and 20 Imperium S. In addition, a launch and a final edition are planned, each limited to five copies.
