Syria's men's basketball team lost to its Lebanese counterpart, 82-76, in a friendly match held today in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in preparation for the third window of the World Cup qualifiers.
Our team will meet with its Lebanese counterpart in a second friendly match tomorrow, within the preparatory external training camp for our team to meet the Bahrain and Iran teams within the third window competitions that will be held in the city of Aleppo on the first and fourth of next July, respectively.
It is noteworthy that if our team wins the first match against Bahrain, it will qualify for the second round of the World Cup qualifiers as the third group in its group that includes Kazakhstan, Iran and Bahrain.
