It is the visualization of the surveillance cameras which made it possible to date the misdemeanor to the beginning of November. Other burglaries of the same ilk

It is a booty that amounts to several tens of thousands of euros.

The wife of former footballer Didier Drogba, Lalla Diakité, was robbed of luxury clothes and shoes stored in a box of the company Shugard, in Asnières, in the Hauts-de-Seine, revealed RTL this Wednesday .

The loot is estimated at nearly 200,000 euros.

This flight would have taken place at the beginning of November.

The criminals, visibly well informed, would have entered the storage unit thanks to personal codes of customers, then would have broken an emergency exit and the padlock of the box of the wife of Didier Drogba in order to open it.

The thieves left, according to RTL, with at least six Louis Vuitton suitcases, as well as a trunk and a bag of the same brand.

They also stole other bags and suitcases which, like the previous ones, were stuffed with expensive clothes and shoes.

Other similar burglaries

It was while trying to recover some of these belongings, on November 11, that Lalla Diakité discovered the theft.

She had not been to her box since the end of August.

Lalla Diakité filed a complaint and believes that the police estimate – around 200,000 euros – is well below reality.

According to our information, it was the visualization of surveillance cameras that made it possible to date the misdemeanor to the beginning of November.

Should we see a link with other burglaries in other furniture stores of the same brand, also in the Hauts-de-Seine, in recent weeks?

The judicial police of the department seized the file.

In January 2021, Didier Drogba announced his separation from Lalla Diakité, after 20 years together.

“We remain very close and our main objective has been our children and protecting them and the privacy of the family,” wrote the former Chelsea striker.
