The gendarmerie is launching a national and international call for witnesses on Tuesday to find the driver of a two-wheeler as part of the investigation into the attempted assassination of a magistrate at her home in Versailles in 2019.
A serious facial injury
The magistrate, one of the presidents of the Yvelines Assize Court, was shot in the head on the morning of June 17, 2019 while she was at home.

Two individuals, traveling on a motorcycle, entered the home of the magistrate who was the victim of a gunshot
,” recalls in a press release the research section (SR) of the Versailles gendarmerie, in charge of the investigations.
Seriously injured, she had been hospitalized for three days and operated on, suffering from several facial fractures.

The investigation was disoriented at the Paris court, where two investigating judges are in charge of a judicial investigation still in progress for attempted assassination.
