After a robbery on a jewelry store in Berlin-Spandau around two months ago, the alleged perpetrator has to answer before the regional court of the capital from today (9.15 a.m.).
The 44-year-old is said to have threatened the shopkeeper and an employee with a alarm gun and forced them to open showcases.
The defendant has jewelry worth around 12.
Berlin - 000 euros in itself.
However, the owner managed to trigger an alarm unnoticed, the police said at the time.
Emergency services had arrested the 44-year-old in the shop.
The charge is aggravated robbery.
