Canadian singer Justin Bieber on Monday denied allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman in 2014, a day after the woman, who identified herself as Daniel, accused him of Twitter in the act.

According to her, he attacked her in a room where she stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin during a city music festival. According to her, after inviting her to his room and she arrived, "sexually assaulted me without consent."

The 26-year-old's tweet was deleted after a day. Bieber said he saw no point in dealing with random charges, but after talking to his wife and staff, he decided he had to respond this time, even though "rumors are just rumors."

"Over the past 24 hours, a story appeared on Twitter saying that I was involved in sexual violence on March 9, 2014, in Austin, Texas. I want to be sharp and clear - there is no truth to this story.

To back up the statement, the singer posted several tweets one by one with photos and receipts proving that he was elsewhere and sharing his time with his then-boyfriend Selena Gomez.

Furthermore I stayed with Selena and our friends at an airbnb on the 9th and on the 10th stayed at a Westin because our hotel reservation at LÀ Quinta and not the four seasons was messed up. Here are the receipts for the hotel on the 10th pic.twitter.com/hLNHnvJ6XS

On march 10th selena left for work and I stayed at the Westin as the receipts clearly showed with my friends nick and john before I left town. Once again not at the four seasons. We booked it for a couple of days to stay for the defjam show but I bailed on the 11th to head back home pic.twitter.com/Ku15SCYz91

"Any allegation of sexual assault should be taken seriously and that's what I did," the singer noted in a recent tweet. "However, in this case it is a false allegation and therefore I intend to contact Twitter and the authorities to sue," he declared in a summary. His latest tweet on the topic garnered some 45,000 shares and more than 180,000 comments.

Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However, this story is actually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action.
