On the ninth day of his trial for the kidnapping of a Swiss trader before the Paris Assize Court, Arnaud Mimran, was questioned this Thursday on this incredible affair.

At 49, the former "golden boy" responds with six men for the kidnapping and sequestration of this 63-year-old man between Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine) and Aubervilliers (Seine-Saint-Denis) in January 2015. And this with the aim of forcing him to buy for 2.5 million euros of shares of a company without any value.

Behind the window of the accused's box, pink shirt and black hair, Arnaud Mimran denies everything and has an answer to everything.

He assures that he was not financially strapped because he had funds deposited in accounts in Luxembourg, Dubai and China.

"I cannot let you say that because I had problems, I would have thought of resorting to kidnapping," he rebels.

The real culprit, according to the accused, would be Titax, a specialist in assaults against fake police officers

For the sulphurous carbon tax crook, the real culprit would be Sabir Titouh, alias Titax, a supporter of organized crime who can no longer answer him.

And for good reason, he was shot dead on January 19, 2015 in front of his home in Taverny (Val-d'Oise).

But Mimran says he actually wanted to introduce him to Titax, whom he believed capable of solving, on behalf of the Swiss, a problem of unbuildable land in Corsica, sold by local thugs.

On the evening of January 15, the trader who has a meeting with Arnaud Mimran is kidnapped by four fake police officers who force him to buy 2.5 million euros in shares of a bogus company.

The sixty-year-old says he was kidnapped and kept in two apartments for six days.

Arnaud Mimran, he maintains that he did not go to the meeting that evening because he did not want to.

“For me, I put them in touch, that was enough.

I accept to be condemned because I am badly brought up, but not for the rest, ”he says.

The next day, Titax picks him up on a motorbike at the Porte d'Auteuil in Paris. He puts a balaclava and a helmet on her head and takes her to the place of kidnapping, making her believe that it is a business meeting. “Everything has changed in the lobby of the building. He said to me, he will buy stocks and you will give me cash, adds the accused. He adds that the perpetrator threatened to kill him and attack his son. Mimran is brought into the presence of the victim with his hands tied and notices that he is placing purchase orders.

“They say I was made up to make it look like I was kidnapped. Let's be serious, ”he contests before explaining that he was terrified by this situation. The "golden boy" emphasizes that he does not know any of Titax's friends who are being tried with him. The latter all assure that they are foreign to the facts. The verdict will be delivered on June 25, 2021.
