Only 333 copies for some markets around the world with progressive numbering and exclusive features.

The world of Quattro Analli collectors and enthusiasts is in turmoil for the presentation of the new Audi R8 Coupe V10 GT RWD which comes twelve years after the debut of the first R8 GT, designed and manufactured by Audi Sport GmbH.

Thanks to the innovations under the bonnet, the new R8 GT accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.4 seconds, reaches 200 km / h in just 10.1 seconds and can reach a top speed on the track of up to 320 km / h.

In this special series - says the Ingolstadt-based company - emotions are guaranteed by the 5.2-liter FSI engine combined with rear-wheel drive only.

But that's not all, because the technological excellence of the House of the Four Rings brings a new driving mode to its debut, with personalized torque delivery on the rear wheels.

This is to allow precise and always controllable oversteer.

The heart of the new Audi R8 Coupe V10 GT RWD is the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine whose power has increased to 602 hp, making it the most powerful rear-wheel drive unit in the history of the brand.

A new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission for faster shifting and the new Torque Rear drive mode allows drivers to choose their own level of ESC support.

The seven-level rear torque can be adjusted via the control knob on the steering wheel.

For the first time, Audi Sport GmbH offers this Torque Rear mode.

The rear axle slip is controlled by a control system that takes into account information from the wheel speed sensors, the steering angle, the accelerator pedal position and the selected gear.

The engine control unit measures the engine power on the rear axle and interacts with the traction control system (ASR) which is part of the ESC.

Seven characteristic curves are stored in the ASR to offer different levels of support.

Level 1 allows for minimal slippage, while level 7 allows for the highest.

The desired rear torque level can be set by turning the control knob on the steering wheel, which also allows for a different adaptation as driving skills and road conditions develop on a track.

Compared to the R8 Coupé V10 Performance RWD various interventions have led to a weight reduction of about 20 kg to reach a total of 1570 kg.

Exclusive 20-inch 10-spoke wheels, combined with high-performance Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires, designed for road and track use, play a key role in weight reduction.

The extremely powerful ceramic brake system, standard in the R8 GT, saves additional weight.

In addition, there are R8 bucket seats and high-performance sports suspension with CFRP anti-roll bar.

The front anti-roll bar is in fact made of plastic reinforced with carbon fiber.

Together with the two red anodized aluminum coupling rod attachments, which reduces weight and increases road holding and cornering dynamics.

Externally this special series is distinguished by exclusive additional components such as the black R8 GT lettering on the back and above all the Carbon Aerokit in high gloss (developed in the wind tunnel).

It consists of front splitter, flics, side skirts covers, cW elements on the sides of the rear bumper, diffuser and rear wing with gooseneck suspension.

In the interior, Audi Sport GmbH continues its homage to the first R8 GT of 2010. The interior is done in a combination of black and red.

This includes red belts - only available in the 12-year-old R8 GT.

The R8 floor mats and bucket seats feature the special model lettering in black and red.

Customers will find the sequential numbering of their R8 GT in the center of the center console next to the gear lever, partially matted in the carbon insert.
