(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 14 - "We have to increase the vaccination rate. It is shamefully low".
This was said by the Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg, announcing, in a press conference, the entry into force from tomorrow of the lockdown for the non-vaccinated.
"The situation is serious - he added - we do not take this step lightly but unfortunately it is necessary".
About 65% of the population is fully vaccinated against Covid, reports the Guardian, according to which it is one of the lowest rates in Western Europe.
