The resignation of the Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz was possibly premature.
The Viennese public prosecutor's office for business and corruption accuses the politician of having bought friendly reporting in tabloid media together with his innermost circle and of having done well-designed surveys in his favor.
The fraud was financed with public funds.
Surveys kept under lock and key now show: Even if the allegations were true, the Austrians would forgive Kurz. When asked what was more important to them, "an inflated scandal over hairstyle polls or a perfectly hairstyle chancellor," 89 percent of those questioned voted for the handsome toll republic chief. On "Should tax money be used sensibly for the right formation of political will?", 67 percent answered with "But certainly" and another 32 percent with "Logical". Even the foul SMS messages of the young conservative that emerged in the course of the investigation do not seem to hurt Kurz. The question "What do you think of snooping around in the private messages of our Federal Chancellor?" Answered 88 percent spontaneously with "The prosecutor is a mess".The ex-Chancellor can draw hope from the answers to the last question: "What is the opposite of long - and who should rule again as soon as possible?" As many as 120 percent mention his name.
After the publication of these explosive results in leading Austrian tabloid media, Kurz is expected to return to the Chancellery soon.
As soon as the transfer of the due fee has arrived, they want to inform the public.
