The ongoing topic of health resort contribution goes into the next round.
Bad Wiessee has started a survey among its landlords.
The community wants to know: How high should the contribution be in the future?
Bad Wiessee
- does it stay at 3.30 euros or does Bad Wiessee roll backwards and swivel to the valley-wide 3 euros?
One thing is certain: the community is tackling the issue of health resort contribution again.
She has started a survey among the local hosts and asks the businesses to give a vote on the question of the amount of the contribution.
Coronavirus has thwarted planned meeting
Actually, Mayor Robert Kühn (SPD) wanted to convene a round table with the landlords in the course of November to ask their opinion.
But the corona pandemic got in the way.
In retrospect, Kühn even sees the fact that there is now a written survey of all landlords in town as positive: “This is a charming solution, because it gives us an all-encompassing picture of the atmosphere.” This should then serve as a basis for discussion for a later meeting.

In their letter, the municipality asks the landlord to put a cross behind the options 3 euros or 3.30 euros.
They should then return their vote anonymously to the community.
How the vote will turn out cannot be estimated for him, says Kühn.
"But I see it completely relaxed."
With a reduction there is a loss of up to 200,000 euros
One thing is clear - and the municipality also points out in its letter: If the visitor's tax were reduced by 30 cents, Bad Wiessee would have to forego income of around 150,000 to 200,000 euros in the future.
