(ANSA) - ROME, JULY 28 - The Bank of Italy, also following the indications of the ECB, updates its recommendations in March on the distribution of dividends. "In line with the provisions of the recommendation of the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB) of 27 May 2020 and by the ECB in respect of significant banks, the Bank of Italy recommends, until the first of January 2021, to the less significant banks, not to pay relative dividends to financial years 2019 and 2020 (including the distribution of reserves) and not to undertake any irrevocable commitment for the payment of dividends relating to the same financial years; do not proceed to the repurchase of shares aimed at remunerating the shareholders.
