Barbers from Geretsried cut the hair of Bayern stars – every ten days at the latest

In Alexandru Giurgiu's salon in Geretsried, the stars of FC Bayern pass the doorstep.

Other top footballers are also customers there.

Munich – Alphonso Davies has left the corona quarantine.

Lucas Hernández is scheduled to follow on Friday (January 14).

One of her first paths to freedom will probably lead her to him: Alexandru Giurgiu.

The 31-year-old is a hairdresser in Geretsried.

And the Bayern stars are regular customers in his shop "Alex The Barber Men's Salon".

"They can actually be dressed up before every game, but at the latest every ten days," Giurgiu told our newspaper.

"Short sides and beautiful gradients are important to them." The native Romanian has been cutting his hair since he was 15: "It's my passion." Giurgiu came to Munich in the spring of 2016 and initially worked as a parcel carrier.

In 2019 he opened his own barber shop.

His first Bayern customer: Oliver Batista-Meier (now at Dynamo Dresden), who wrote to him on Instagram in May 2020 and thus fixed an appointment.

Gradually, other footballers came, including Justin Kluivert (Nice) and Dominik Szoboszlai (RB Leipzig) from the Bundesliga, Chris Richards (Hoffenheim loan) and Bayern diamond Jamal Musiala.

Davies followed in 2021.

With the Canadian, Giurgiu made a comedy video on Instagram in December in the style of social media star Khaby Lame (65.8 million Instagram followers).

“Currently it has over 5.5 million views.

More than any other hairdresser,” says Giurgiu, who can now count Davies (“a totally funny guy”) among his buddies.

The celebrity hairdresser also gets along very well with Hernández. "After I cut Michael Cuisance's hair, Luci came to see me," Giurgiu said. "He's really nice and shows interest in me. We also talk about personal things.” The hair artist has an even closer connection to Karim Adeyemi. “In August 2020 he was with me for the first time. Now I don't see Karim just as a player, but as a family friend," says Giurgiu, who is often invited to Salzburg to watch the attacking star play.

This was also the case on August 21 last year when Red Bull played against Austria Klagenfurt (3-1).

"It was my birthday and Karim scored his first goal in the third minute," Giurgiu remembers clearly.

"He then formed an A with his fingers while celebrating, dedicating his goal to me.

A super nice gesture that I will never forget.”

The hairdresser, who won first place in the men's haircut category at the Barber Battle in Berlin in 2019, also received an honor from Joshua Zirkzee.

“I was the first hairdresser who was allowed to touch his hair.

In the past, it was only his mum who cut the ends of his beautiful curly hair,” reveals Giurgiu about the FC Bayern striker, who is currently on loan at RSC Anderlecht in Belgium.
