The reopening will however only be limited to terraces initially.

The maximum number of guests will be six per table.

As with the first deconfinement, a strict sanitary protocol will be in place with in particular a distance between the tables.

Restaurant owners will be limited for evening services, with the curfew only being postponed until 9 p.m.

It is on June 9 that the cafes and restaurants will be able to breathe a little more: the curfew will be postponed to 11 p.m. (before being completely lifted on June 30) and they will be able to open fully, both inside and outside. outside, everywhere in France.

The strict sanitary protocol must continue to be observed and there cannot be more than six people at the table.

Restaurant owners have been asking to reopen since they closed at the end of October. The calendar proposed by Emmanuel Macron follows more or less what the professionals of the sector had proposed to Jean Castex, at the beginning of April, with an opening in several stages.
