Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets says she is "doing what's best" for him by rejecting the Covid-19 vaccine. A choice, his, which presupposes the exclusion from the next NBA championship. The Nets have said the point guard will not play until he is deemed eligible to become a "full participant" in the league under New York City's Covid-19 vaccine rules. Irving is not vaccinated, but regulations state that all athletes who play or train in the city must be. The 29-year-old says he won't bow to pressure to get vaccinated. Speaking about his story on Instagram Live Wednesday, Irving said, "Do what's best for you, but I'm not a supporter of either side.I'm doing what's best for me. I know the consequences, and if it means I'm going to be judged and demonized for that, that's okay. ”Irving has been in the All-Star seven times and played 54 games with the Nets' tank in the past regular season. NBA recently made it known that any 'no-vax' player will not be paid for the games they miss.
