Bauer influencers blog for agricultural corporations

They advertise “cool” pesticide spraying machines or drum up against the Insect Protection Act: bloggers like “Bauer Willi” openly lobby - but not for the farmers.

Jutta Zeisset, 40, shirt-sleeved, down-to-earth, is a trained gardener, café owner, CDU member and above all blogger.

"I love agriculture" is the name of her channel, and she really lets it rip.

Sometimes she praises the "cool" pesticide spraying machine of a manufacturer during a tour of the fair.

Then she chats with the head of crop protection at Bayer via video.

And in between, she still finds time to hammer in Chancellery Minister Helge Braun (CDU) by letter to "NOT agree" to the planned insect protection law.

The new law provides for a ban on pesticides harmful to bees in protected areas.

Environmental protection associations have been calling for this for years.

The farmers' association and its president Joachim Rukwied have been against it for years.

The regulation is destroying parts of our culture, he claims.

Viticulture will soon be "completely history" without pesticides.

Rukwied's association is powerful, but it was already more influential.

Public opinion has turned against big farmers like him, against the agricultural industry and pesticide manufacturers anyway.
