A 39-year-old fell to his death during a climbing tour on the 2,000-meter-high Viererspitze in the Karwendel Mountains in Bavaria.
As the police in Rosenheim reported, a mountaineering group found the man's body on Sunday.
Accordingly, he had already set out alone on a mountain tour on Saturday and had an accident.
Specially trained forces from the alpine police task force recorded the accident and recovered the body with a police helicopter.
The officials assume that the 39-year-old from the Munich area fell without external influence and was fatally injured.
