In order to clarify the violent death of a young woman in Upper Bavaria, the police are looking for photos and videos from a music club.
A police spokesman said that material was in demand that had been made from Sunday evening in the "Eiskeller" in Aschau im Chiemgau or in the vicinity of the disco.
Anyone who has pictures or films can make them available to the police via a link on the Internet.
Around 40 investigators are trying to solve the homicide.
"There are still a lot of people we need to question," said the police spokesman.
Among them are club employees and hundreds of guests who were in the disco from Sunday evening.
Soko asks for witnesses
The victim, a 23-year-old from Aschau, had celebrated that evening in the "Eiskeller".
Hours later, a passer-by discovered the body of the young woman from the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim in the Prien river – about ten kilometers from the club in the town of Prien am Chiemsee.
"The autopsy took place on Monday, but we don't have all the test results yet," the spokesman said.
He did not want to name the cause of death for investigative reasons.
However, it is clear that the 23-year-old died violently.
Whether there is also a sexual offense has yet to be determined.
"We're not ruling that out," the spokesman said.
According to the police, the young woman left the “ice cellar” at around 2:30 a.m. on Monday morning.
Further investigations are to clarify what happened next.
A special commission was set up at the Rosenheim Criminal Police Inspectorate.
She asked for witnesses.
The following questions are of particular interest:
Who saw the dead woman in the »Eiskeller« music club or had contact with her there?
Was the 23-year-old accompanied or did she have contact with someone there?
Who saw the young woman when or after leaving the »Eiskeller« music club or during the course of Monday?
Who made observations in the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau or in the surrounding area, especially in the early hours of Monday morning?
