They were turned away part of the evening by the girls they were trying to hook up with.
And their anger was focused on a poor man who asked nothing of anyone and whose only fault in their eyes was his skin color.
Two men aged 26 and 31 were referred this Friday to the Paris court for a racist assault that occurred on the night of Monday to Tuesday in the middle of Paris (Ie).
They were to be tried in court immediately but their trial was postponed.
That night, four friends walk quietly down the street.
They have just had a good time in a bar in the 6th century and have no intention of leaving each other without going for a last drink.
But that's without counting on two completely drunk men they had already seen heavily dredging up girls in the previous establishment.

Near the Pont-Neuf, around 2:30 am, according to a police source, one of the individuals designates one of the four friends - the only black one it seems - by treating him as a “nigga who will attack white people”. Then the insults burst forth: "Dirty black, dirty nigga, come back to your country, you shouldn't hit on a white girl." The friends try to intervene but the blows start to rain. The four friends are injured in particular in the face. Their total incapacity for work was not known this Friday evening.
Alerted, a crew from the night anti-crime squad rushed to the scene and called out to the two men, who were still near the scene.
Formally recognized by the four friends, they are placed in police custody for willful violence aggravated by three circumstances, in particular because of the supposed ethnicity of one of their victims.
Faced with investigators from the Paris center police station, they initially assume the racist motive for their aggression, believing that "Paris is invaded by North African and sub-Saharan populations".
"It is not normal that people of our age do not prevent white people from being attacked by niggas," they philosophize.
The aggressors assume then… retract
As their blood alcohol levels declined, the political conviction of the suspects dissipated.
Finally, no, there was nothing racist about this brawl.
Besides, it wasn't really a fight.
“They were even offended that we attribute racist remarks to them,” sighs a police source.
Thanks to video surveillance, investigators were able to confirm the version advanced by the victims.
In the Paris court, the two defendants could not explain themselves on the merits of the case since the trial was postponed.
In the meantime, the two men have been placed under judicial supervision.
