Michela Moioli will be Italy's standard-bearer at the Beijing Winter Games,
from 4 to 20 February.
This was decided by the president of Coni, Giovanni Malagò.
The snowboard Olympian replaces Sofia Goggia who was injured last Sunday in Cortina.
Malagò has decided to change his standard bearer after having talked about it with Sofia Goggia and with the President of the Italian Winter Sports Federation, Flavio Roda, following the rehabilitation program for the Olympic champion in downhill who was injured last Sunday in Cortina.
On 23 December Goggia received from the hands of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella the tricolor for the ceremony of the Winter Games.
