Benjamin Mendy saw the two new rapes, of which he was indicted Wednesday by the British justice, officially joined this Thursday to the prosecutions on the four rapes and the sexual assault of which the footballer is already accused.
A decision taken by the court of Chester in England, during a hearing which the French, imprisoned since the end of August, did not attend.
A procedural hearing is now scheduled to take place on December 22, The Manchester Evening News reports.
The world champion remains imprisoned for the moment, just like the other accused in this case, Louis Saha Matturie, prosecuted for six rapes and a sexual assault between March and August 2021. His links with the 27-year-old player are not still clearly known.

The trial on the charges against Benjamin Mendy between October 2020 and August 2021, must for the moment take place from January 24, 2022. The three requests for release of the player, who denies the facts, have so far been refused by British justice.
The player was remanded in custody for failing to respect the rules of his judicial review.
In August, he had organized a party at his home with about twenty people, where the justice prohibited him from receiving more than four people at his home if they were not part of his relatives or did not work for him.
