Berlin: Notice on notice board - "I only have ..."

The corona crisis is producing a lot of bad news. But also bizarre events. A notice from Berlin makes you smile.

• Toilet paper suddenly became a luxury commodity in the Corona crisis.
• A Berliner posted a bulletin board in his desperate search for  "white gold" .
• One detail suggests that he was successful.

Berlin - If there is such a thing as the “winner” of the corona crisis in Germany, then this award will certainly go to something as unspectacular as it is indispensable: toilet paper. Since the first days of the spread of the new type of corona virus , panic purchases by some citizens have led to the fact that in many supermarkets the hygiene products were completely sold out .

The author of a notice in Berlin-Lichterfelde also stood in front of empty shelves a few times, because his desperate call, which the Instagram * page "Notes of Corona" discovered in the federal capital, does not allow any other conclusion.

It says in large letters on yellow cardboard:  "Did you accidentally buy too much toilet paper? I didn't buy hamster and now I only have three roles. ”

As is usually the case when looking for a flat, the author leaves his telephone number on the tear-off strip and adds a note: "Please call me, I can pick you up." He closes with the note:  "Please don't be a hamster buyer!"

It is not known whether the author, morally speaking, cannot get his new toilet paper from a hamster buyer, or whether the latter should only be a reference to every reader. Positive for the searcher after all: Some phone numbers have already been torn down.

So maybe the call became a success story, and the desperate writer can already look forward to his new helpers made of paper. Just like most Germans: As the Federal Statistical Office recently reported, sales of toilet paper are declining.
