Oliver Bierhoff could imagine saying goodbye to Robert Lewandowski from FC Bayern.
A change would serve the excitement of the Bundesliga.
Munich – Robert Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern Munich.
Should the pole really change, it would be a nightmare idea for all FCB fans.
A scenario that nobody would have thought possible on Säbener Straße until a few weeks ago.
Since Lewandowski came to Munich eight years ago, the striker has been scoring goals on an assembly line and Bayern have won the German championship every season.
However, Oliver Bierhoff also sees a positive aspect in a Lewandowski farewell – not for Bayern Munich, but for the Bundesliga.

Lewandowski farewell to FC Bayern?
Bierhoff hopes for more excitement in the Bundesliga
"Perhaps his departure could also create more excitement and competition in the Bundesliga," said DFB managing director Oliver Bierhoff in an interview with

and

.
FC Bayern recently celebrated their tenth championship title in a row - an unrivaled series in the top 5 European leagues.
If the Bundesliga once criticized the so-called "Spanish conditions" in LaLiga, boredom has reigned in its own division for years.
"I think in the end even Bayern will be grateful if the competition gets closer and creates more tension," explained Bierhoff.
However, it is doubtful whether the FCB bosses see it the same way.
CEO Oliver Kahn only explained at the championship celebration on the town hall balcony at Munich's Marienplatz that the competition could "make up" an attack on Bayern.

Oliver Bierhoff: Lewandowski's departure would be "a great loss for the Bundesliga and FC Bayern"
Despite a contract that runs until 2023, Lewandowski is apparently moving to FC Barcelona, but Kahn clearly rejected an early change.
Lewandowski's departure would, according to Bierhoff, "of course be a big loss for the Bundesliga and FC Bayern."

The Pole had consistently won the top scorer cannon in the past five seasons and surpassed Gerd Müller's legendary mark of 40 goals by one goal in the previous season.
"He is an absolutely exceptional striker and one of the best attackers in the world," said Bierhoff.
"It is impressive what he has achieved in recent years."
FC Bayern: Oliver Bierhoff believes there will be tension in the title fight because of BVB transfers
But who should stop Bayern even without Lewandowski?
Bierhoff names the usual suspects and praises BVB.
"Borussia Dortmund did very well with the signings of Niklas Süle, Nico Schlotterbeck and Karim Adeyemi and gave the signal that BVB wants to attack again," said the 54-year-old.
"Other teams such as Leipzig or Leverkusen will also upgrade, so next season can be exciting." Bayern are already working on a Lewandowski replacement and are in a transfer tug-of-war with BVB.
