The foreign ministers of Russia and the United States are meeting today (Friday) in Geneva to discuss tensions around Ukraine, but both have lowered expectations of a breakthrough in talks.
Anthony Blinken and Sergei Lavrov shook hands at the opening of the meeting at the President Wilson Hotel in the Swiss city, before sitting down to begin talks.
