Blinken calls Di Maio, let's speed up vaccines together

(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 20 - US Secretary of State Blinken heard the Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio a few minutes ago by telephone. Blinken, according to what is learned, has anticipated to Di Maio that the US would reopen, already in November, to Italian travelers who have completed the cycle vaccination, as well as to other European travelers.

    Di Maio and Blinken agreed on the importance of re-launching global efforts on the vaccination campaign, also using the G20 summit in October.
