Bloody roads: 18 killed in road accidents a week Israel today

Deadly week on Israeli roads: 18 killed in road accidents since the beginning of the week, 225 killed since the beginning of the year.

In the accident, his two children, aged 10 and 6, were injured in a mild-moderate condition, with bruises on their upper bodies.

They were taken to the hospital for further treatment.

At the beginning of the week, on the night between Sunday and Monday, an 81-year-old resident of Haifa was killed in a car accident on Abu Khushi Boulevard in the city.

The accident involved a scooter rider, a 23-year-old resident of Usafia, who was detained by the police.

On Tuesday, a 30-year-old cyclist from Rishon Lezion was killed after being hit by a truck.

Towards midnight that day, a bus driver lost control and crashed into a guard rail near a construction site on Jeremiah Street in Jerusalem.

As a result, a 70-year-old pedestrian was killed. The bus driver, in his 40s, was seriously injured.

There is also another injured in a minor condition.

In another traffic accident during the night, between a truck and two vehicles near the Ben Zion interchange in the direction of Atarot - a 40-year-old resident of Beit Hanina was killed, and four injured were taken to Shaare Zedek and Hadassah hospitals on Mount Scopus.

That night Gabi (Gabriel) Barda, 65, the father of the waitress Nesli Barda, was killed in a serious accident on Route 5 near the Ornit interchange.

The second person killed is the driver who ran amok on the road and was driving a stolen vehicle.

A few hours later the motorcyclist Muhammad Khamarsha (25) was killed in a collision with a motorcycle and a car on road 65 near Kfar Kara.

On Wednesday, two Kalanseva residents were killed, who were traveling in a car that collided with a truck on Route 57. The dead are Rimas Matev, age seven, and her aunt Lila.

On Thursday, a bus driving near a mall on Shamgar Street in Jerusalem, veered off the road, ran over pedestrians and crashed into a store.

The accident killed Shoshana Glostein, who was in advanced pregnancy, and her two daughters: seven-year-old Chaya Sara and two-year-old Hana.

Yoav Hadari and Hanoch Telker, two bus drivers, residents of Ofakim, were killed on the night between Thursday and Friday, by a vehicle collision on Route 4, near the Yad Mordechai intersection, while they were crossing the road to help the victims of another traffic accident that happened there.

MDA medics and paramedics were called to the scene and had to pronounce them dead.

On Friday evening, a Palestinian resident was killed in a car accident in which the vehicle he was traveling in, and an Israeli vehicle, apparently collided head-on on Route 60, near the Neve Daniel settlement in Gush Etzion.
