Juventus are starting to balance and get back on the winning track after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and the difficult start to the season, and leaders Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini have also been convinced: it is good that he has moved to Manchester United.
"In the last months when Ronaldo was here, we did not play as a team. We all played solely to get him to conquer," Bonucci told Italian media.
"We lost the ability to suffer together and the belief that something could be fixed. I think it goes against the spirit of Juventus. We all wanted him to succeed, but it took a toll on us. Now we learn together how to play modestly and together, and slowly return to base."

Giorgio Chiellini also said things in a similar spirit.
"With Ronaldo we got to the point where he and we had to separate forces. He was looking for something else, he wanted a team to play for him, because when he finds one, he is a tremendous deciding player. He shows it at Manchester United. Now we're creating something new, we start "Obviously he would have contributed to us if he had stayed, but it makes sense that we think more about the present than about the past."
Cagliani even claims that Ronaldo's departure at the end of August, caused the team to lose points at the start of the season.
"It would have been better if he had left earlier. We paid a price for the timing of the departure because we were a little shocked and because of that we lost precious points. If he had left earlier, I think we could have prepared for it better."
